When to go

December to May is warmer and calmer, with excellent snorkeling and nesting wildlife. June to November is cooler with richer water, stronger diving and pelagics. Read the full season guide.

How to get here

Fly internationally to Quito or Guayaquil in mainland Ecuador, then connect by domestic flight to Baltra or San Cristobal. The right arrival island depends on your itinerary.

Routes are planned in advance. Galapagos charters follow National Park-approved itineraries with certified naturalist guides and controlled visitor sites.
