From the gateway there is often a further charter flight, ferry or transfer to meet the yacht. Galapagos is a good example of how much the month shapes the trip: December to May brings warmer water, calmer seas and active land wildlife, ideal for families and snorkelers, while June to November suits serious divers with cooler, nutrient-rich currents.
