How is an exotic or expedition charter different from a Mediterranean one?

They are almost different products. A Mediterranean charter is about coastline, beach clubs, ports and easy sun; an expedition charter is about reaching places few people ever see, and the wildlife, ice and landscapes there. That changes everything downstream.

Expedition yachts are built for range, ice or remoteness rather than marina glamour; trips run longer; permits, park fees and expert guides are part of the deal; and booking happens 12 to 18 months out rather than months. The onboard focus shifts from the beach club to the zodiac, the dive deck and the naturalist’s briefing.
